Mumbai: A 17-year-old female victim of sexual harassment in Maharashtra’s Aurangabad jumped off a speeding autorickshaw and sustained a severe head injury. The autorickshaw driver was detained, and the strict Protection of Children from Sexual Offenses Act has been used to accuse him of his crimes (POCSO).
The girl jumped off the autorickshaw on a busy road, and the moment was caught on CCTV footage from a nearby store. She was just barely missed by a car that suddenly swerved.
People on foot were seen assisting the girl.
The occurrence happened on Sunday.

The girl reportedly took the autorickshaw following her tuition courses. The auto driver, Syed Akbar Hameed, initially asked the youngster general inquiries but soon turned to making filthy statements that frightened her and made her leap off even as he accelerated.
The young woman is receiving care at a nearby hospital. The police used 40 CCTV cameras along the road to track down the auto driver’s location before apprehending him.
Mumbai is home to Hameed. He had relocated to Aurangabad four to five months prior and operated a hired autorickshaw, according to the police.
